Belly Dancing - Beginner 1 -
Learn to isolate parts of the body such as the arms, shoulders, hands, upper torso, hips and abdomen. Veil work will be introduced, as well as an understanding that each move has a meaning which explores the connection between mind and body.
Belly Dancing - Beginner 2 -
Build upon the essentials of basic muscle isolation and of working with the veil, as well as an introduction to the basic patterns of the zills.
Belly Dancing - Intermediate 1 -
Learn to combine various dance moves (non-stop) by choosing the steps and figures with which you are most comfortable.
Belly Dancing - Advance Level -
Discover your body and express your personality through your moves. Realize that by dancing with your heart the figures will come more easily than by directing the moves with only your mind. Take your time and set your own pace.
Routine Class (Recital & non-recital) -
After each step-by-step lesson a combination routine shows you how to pull all the steps together. Helpful advice and tips on how to avoid making mistakes are offered in this course.
Latin Line Dancing -
Latin music such as Salsa, Meringue, Mambo, Samba, Cha Cha, Bachata, and Regueton create a sexy and energetic rhythm. Depending on how quickly you dance and how much you travel around the dance floor, line dancing can help you burn between 200 to 375 calories per hour.
Ballroom Dancing -
Learn a proper way to lead or follow your partner on Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Jive, Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha and more.
Argentine Tango -
No other dance connects two people, both emotionally and physically, more closely than the Argentine Tango; due in part to the positions of the dance. Tango is not just an intellectual or athletic activity, it also bares esthetic, emotional, and social aspects.
REQUIREMENTS -
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Do not eat one hour before class
- Bring plenty of water
- Acceptable footwear includes dance shoes or bare feet (no running shoes)
